Halal Food Mobile Catering & Halal Street Food Catering
The word Halal is Arabic for permissible and put simply Halal food is that which adheres to Islamic law, as defined in the Koran. When it comes to animals or poultry, it is the method used to slaughter an animal which determines whether it is Halal or not.
People of the Islamic (Muslim) faith will follow a Halal diet which also means that they cannot consume:
• Alcohol
• Other animals that have not been prepared under Islamic law
• Pork and pork related products
If you are planning an event where you need mobile catering or street food, it is important that you provide food that all of your guests can enjoy.
If it is a small event, you may personally know all of your guests and have a good idea of what they like to eat.
However, if it is a large event, it is likely that there will be certain dietary requirements among the guests and Halal food may be one of them.
